Steppenwolf et al. at Maestro's
In a similar vein, the remote Bay Area suburb of San Ramon recently
spewed up a joint called "Maestro's" whose raison d'être
seems to be giving decrepit rockers a stage to play on. This is one of those
places that always lists the band's most famous songs above the band name in
the ad, lest in your geriatric haze you have trouble recalling just why you
liked these guys back before the war. Recent visitors here have included Rick
Derringer, Steppenwolf, and "the original" Iron Butterfly.
