In 1997 Martha won a California Arts Council Fellowship for Creative Writing for her novel-in-progress, ALL HER FAVORITE FRUIT. Her stories have been published in journals including Massachusetts Review, Carolina Quarterly, The Quarterly, Puerto del Sol, Mississippi Review Web, and Enterzone, and anthologized in Coffeehouse: Writings from the Web.
Martha writes a regular column, Under the Hoop: Fiction on the Net, for Enterzone and maintains her own Web site about fiction and fiction writers, Fiction Rag and Gossip.
