The genius bore

"Is anybody here for the genius bar," a quavery voice. "Anyone on the list?"

"Bueller?" nobody said.

Knowledge is the point at which people stop questioning. Isn't it weird that free thinkers who actually have the open mindedness to question and solve the problems that face society today, also have the open mindedness to use a drug like blow. Sure, the drug is illegal, but why? At first I thought it was because blow was harmful to us, but then again so are cigarettes. Then I thought that maybe it's illegal because it keeps us up and gives us time to think and clear our heads from the madness that they hide behind. But seriously don't you think if they really didn't want us getting our hands on it, it wouldn't be so easy to find. Besides, as stated in "Off the Clock" while on a drug like blow, people do tend to think, however, we for some reason let our selves get lost in the exact meaning of the words that they provide us with, instead of accepting the idea as we know it. The only meaning a word can have is the meaning we give it. We often think ideas through as if every thought we have will have to be presented to a bunch of lawyers one-day, and every word we use will be picked apart. Worry about that latter, IT'S HARD TO DO, but we won't ever have any knowledge to present if we never finish the questioning. Are we free thinkers because of drugs like blow? I'm not. Even though we are questioning things, are we really making that much progress when we do it while on blow?
And if not, wouldn't they want us to do blow, yet still have us creeping down hallways as if we were doing something bad. What's so bad about what you do?
