Given the choice of half of Paul Ford's writing talent or half of his database squeegling skills, I'm not sure which I'd choose. I think Ftrain is what Enterzone, and later Breathing Room (and the rest, bodega, x-pollen, x-ism) dreamed of being when I started doing this stuff and they still aren't that yet and they probably won't ever be. And he started Ftrain weeks before I started BR, and his hiati were shorter than any of mine, and he was born 10 friggin' years later than I was. Dang.
