Boston
Boston will be touring this summer. Their ad in the newspaper is bigger
than Tom Petty's or the Beach Boys' and lists the names of all six band
members, one of whom is named "Fran Cosmo," and another
who goes by "Curly." Who the fuck is Boston anyway? We all
remember "More than a Feeling" from 1976 or whenever it was;
but what else have they ever done? How does a band that put out two
albums then disappeared for 15 years get so huge? For that matter, why do
they always have spaceships on their album covers when they're named
"Boston?" Does the city of Boston have some connection with
interstellar travel that escapes us?
