All the electronic sounds in More of the Same, whether percussive or orchestral, were created algorhythmically using MAX, an icon based programming language for the Macintosh. The computer also served as a "conductor," keeping the real time sampling and electronic manipulation of the electric guitar in time with the synthetic elements of the piece.
