Egyptian E-Mail

When I recently returned to California from a trip to Egypt, I recieved an e-mail message from Christy Sheffield Sanford, who was working in France. Of course, Christy wanted to know all about Egypt; she fired off a spate of questions. The answers juxtapose the script of the ancient world with the cyberscript of today. A "let's see your pictures" over the Internet. In the weeks that followed, tragic events happened in Egypt; they will undoubedly affect tourist trade and the well-being of the kind Egyptian people.
