About the AuthorAndrew DugasIn 1995, Andy got back from a four year stint in Bahia, Brazil, where he supported himself and his family with English lessons and sporadic translations. Now living in San Francisco for the third time in a dozen years, Andy is actually being paid to write as a marketing communications guy for a small software company. Andy thinks poetry should be a by-product of life, not an end in itself; something that happens because you're living. That's why he has an enduring admiration for Beats like Gary Snyder and Diane di Prima. His poetry has also appeared in Misnomer, Minotaur, Bouillabaisse, and has been featured on the AlienFlower Poetry Workshop. gisandy@pacbell.netepisode 11 |
