About the Author

David Beaudouin

David Beaudouin lives on in Baltimore, Maryland, declared nuclear-free zone and hair-do capital of the universe. Armed only with a pen, he takes on all java-jittery up-'n-comers, confessional sleepers, avant-deceivers, MFA-MBAs and others who would foul the high fount of poesie. (As in "guarding against mess and message" -- O'Hara.) Dumbfounder of Tropos Press and The Pearl, Baltimore's oldest journal of the literary and spontaneous arts. Authored most recently: The American Night (Blue Nude Press, 1992) in collaboration with the painter Thea Osato. It's all true, folks.
